About Research Rangers
Research Rangers is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and inspiring people of all ages to spend more time exploring the natural world around them. We partner with the Hays County Master Naturalists and Texas State University to deliver engaging nature explorations and community events at science museums and public libraries. Our mission is to transform how people connect with nature through hands-on experiences, interactive programming, and professional development opportunities that foster a lifelong passion for environmental discovery.
Our educational materials are carefully aligned with 3rd-6th grade TX science content standards and national science practices, yet our explorations are suitable for everyone from ages 5 to 104. We provide customized programming for educators, develop entertaining educational materials, and maintain interactive display items and biological curiosity trunks to support outreach initiatives. Whether through self-guided exploration or ranger-led adventures, Research Rangers empowers teachers, youth, and adults to become effective science educators and nature advocates in their communities.
